What a fantastic and busy weekend we had. First up I cycled off to hockey on Saturday morning – bearing in mind i’ve hardly moved off the sofa since I was ill back in March – so it was a bit of a shock to my system to say the least – enjoyed it though.
Then we pottered off to the St Giles show where we met up with the rest of Sarah’s family and had a very good and enjoyable few hours there. Fortunately the clouds held off long enough for it to be a dry afternoon.
On Sunday we had Warren, Zoe and co round for Sunday lunch and then went blackberry picking / a walk round the NSE. R & J always enjoy it and they end up eating loads of fruit lol. As you can see we managed to collect quite a few – which are now in the freezer ready for a pie later in the year!
All in all, a very enjoyable weekend.
