Excellent Weekend
A very busy but enjoyable weekend at home. Sarah was off in Reading winning a hockey game with the 1's so I had a lot of time with Rebecca and James. We went shopping together in Budgens and the Butchers - they were extremely well behaved - then up to Robertswood swings for half an hour. When we got back to the house we made a delicious shepherd's pie for lunch - Martin and Connor joined us which Rebecca was particularly pleased with.
In the afternoon I played for the 4's - we lost 4-0 - and Sarah took R & J down to the sports club where they ate loads of sweets!!
I must confess I didn't watch the rugby in the evening when England beat France to reach the finals next weekend - i was doing some work on my PC! Sarah was out glugging wine round at some friends.
Sunday was just as good - a delicious roast pork was eaten and we did loads of shredding of some leaves and sticks that were hanging around the garden. It was a really enjoyable family day.
James is having a (routine) operation at Wycombe today - but I cannot help feeling extremely nervous and worried - and just feel extremely sorry for him having to go under the knife at such an early age :-(
