Fast Show and Fireworks

A superb weekend - went out on Friday night with Martin for a quiet one and a few games of snooker up at the NSE. Saturday was pretty busy - somehow I didn't manage to get a game of hockey which was a bit of a disappointment never mind - I did loads of work and the shopping! Had to upgrade all my Actinic customers to a new version. Sarah played hockey in the morning and took R & J down to the sports club for a bit of a run around. I photographed this Pheasant in the back garden whilst working - we haven't seen the Pheasants all summer and they've just turned up again - there were four of them the other day.



Saturday evening we went to the fireworks which were very good - James was a bit tired towards the end but think they both enjoyed it - it was way past their bed time by the end of it! Rebecca had a sparkler for the first time ever.



Sunday Martin and Tony came round for Sunday lunch which was one of the best Roast Beef's i've ever cooked - wrapped it in foil to 'protect' it from the fan oven! Then just relaxed in the garden afterwards.

In the evening we went by train to the Fast Show in London. We took the train to be more environmentally friendly - it was 20 minutes late and we had to stand up the whole way - how rubbish is that! The Fast Show was absolutely brilliant - I've not laughed so much in a very long time - its a shame they are putting it to bed - but guess everything has a sell by date...
