Velvet Revolver

I was in Brixton last night for Velvet Revolver with Charlie. As usual I can hardly hear this morning (a result of listening to my walkman way too loud when I was a teenager) - the gig was superb even through the distortion my ears put on it - full on rock and roll! They even played some guns n roses tracks and stone temple pilots which was a very pleasant surprise. The whole of Brixton Academy was jumping when they played 'its so easy'. The support band was also pretty good - Pearl.

Quite handily, they had shut Brixton tube station - so we had to get a nightbus to Elephant and Castle and just made the last train from Marylebone with seconds to spare.

Superb evening though :-)
