New Vista HP Pc
What a complete palava. I finally decided to upgrade one of my office machines at one of my working locations and its been nothing but problems. Firstly I ordered the wrong RAM for the machine, then i tried to put the graphics card in - tried really hard to put it in the first PCI slot and wouldn't go was trying for ages - gave up and tried in the next slot down - straight in not a murmor. The instructions were hopeless - like a photocopied sheet - very poor for HP.
Now vista is playing up and it won't boot up very easily - I looked around the Internet and it could be my graphics card drivers not quite compatible. It also goes to sleep and i cannot get it restarted again - without turning it off. Probably what caused the Outlook 2007 error below...
And i've just set most applications up and Outlook now appears to be corrupted and won't load up. I was having problems with it when I did test server settings it just kept bombing out.
I didn't know my Password for my NTL email - so I asked them to sent it again - to that email address - now if i'm setting it up how am i going to get the password!
Then tried setting up a new site in Dreamweaver 8, went to open up a location for the web site files - and it just bombed straight out - so had to get round it another way.
This is a right pain it really is.
