London Eye

We had a fabulous weekend - celebrating Sarah's birthday. We played some hockey on Saturday as normal - Rebecca and James enjoyed playing at the Sports Club with everyone there.

On Sunday we drove up to London to go on the London Eye as Sarah had never been. It was thoroughly enjoyable and as you can see some great views of the town and could even see hills at the edges of London - amazing.

I was surprised to see loads of other things going on on the river bank - lots of entertainers and mime artists etc - I think the best one was a Charlie Chaplin impersonator. It was great seeing some of the famous sites as well - whilst trying to dodge which lane to get into..

I think they had the most fun in the play area outside which was quite amusing. As soon as they got in the car at about 2.30 they were asleep so I guess that means they had a good day of it.
