Busy Weekend

By Saturday i'd finally got rid of my cold - though I seem to have picked up another one this morning - how particularly irritating.

A very busy weekend by all accounts. Thank you very much to Chips and goochie for looking after R & J whilst we were playing hockey on Saturday. I was playing down in White City - Linford Christie stadium - just behind Wormwood Scrubs. We played Chiswick who i've never played before - mostly big alpha male South Africans - it was highly amusing - they were fairly agricultural in their approach - though it worked as they won 3-1!! My shoulder was rather sore yesterday and I couldn't figure out why until Warren pointed out that I was repeatedly being dumped on the floor each time I had the ball. My treatment was quite mild compared with some of the midfield! I actually thought it quite amusing really.

Saturday evening went out with Chris to Penn Street and Winchmore Hill. I cannot believe how dead the pubs were - unbelievable.

Sunday we had a lovely day - Sarah went to Snakes and Ladders with Rebecca and I went to the Garden Club with James and down the Sports Club to tidy up some rooms. In the afternoon we went and visited baby Anna (Warren and Zoe's new addition) then Roast Lamb with Wardy and Annie.
