Great Christmas and New Year
We had a lovely break for Christmas and New Year as a family and mostly at home. We popped down to Eastbourne for Christmas and round to Warren and Zoe's for New Year's eve.
Rebecca and James I think really enjoyed the time with us - it is great to spend so much time all together. I knew they were quite upset when we took them to nursery this week!
The most ridiculous thing I heard was 'he was absolutely devasated not to receive that present so we went and bought if for him' - which was a present for a 2 1/2 year old who never looked at it again as far as we saw. A 2 1/2 year old devastated??? eh. Actually it made me very cross but hey ho.
There were many highlights of the break including some time by the beach and eastbourne harbour, some lovely roast dinners. I might post a load of photos up on Facebook soon... Here's a photo of Rebecca in a new ballet outfit and the very popular Thomas.
