I had a couple of bananas spare

So I baked a chocolate and banana cake - what do you think? I think it needs some chocolate icing on top - but didn't have any to hand.
I kept buying baking powder at the shops for some reason so I am feeling the need to make cakes - specifically ones with baking powder in them.



If you were wondering - though i'm not sure why you would be - we had tuna bake hand made by me for tea - which featured ... wait for it... caugettes from the garden, runner beans from the garden, a salad of tomatoes and salad leaves from the garden - with serendipity olive oil and balsamic vinegar drizzled over the top (of the salad) and some feta cheese mixed in.

Maybe I should give up work and be a full time house husband - playing tennis and baking cakes all day....

Speaking of tennis, my arm / shoulder is still very painful today d'oh. Still the hockey tournament at the weekend should sort that out .... not ... quite looking forward to it though. Shirts socks and shorts all here, grey hair spray, 2 1/2 pint plastic drinking vessels (ready for purple nasty) and a chef's hat for Saturday night's curry by chef lambo.

Hands up who thinks that whilst i'm swanning around barnstaple with a purple grin this weekend, google will be doing a massive update of its index and shaking the listings around a bit. Its about time - loads of incremental updates but nothing big - maybe we'll have to wait until Christmas...
