Swimming, eating and raining
We had another excellent weekend - free of illness for a second week in a row! Well James was teething but it wasn't affecting him much thankfully.
Saturday we pottered around the shops in Chalfont St Peter and Gerrards Cross then went to the tennis courts in Little Chalfont. But the little tinkers had fallen asleep - we were hoping to get Rebecca holding a racket and seeing what she could do - and they have grown bushes so we couldn't see them from the court - so we drove to Chalfont St Giles where we could see them and played for the first time in many years for about 30 mins until James had woken up - and it had started to rain. He enjoyed going on the swings anyway - Rebecca was snoring in the car still!! lol.
I went for a run in the evening for some odd reason - i decided to go after we'd finished a bottle of wine between us - oh well - I was just running across the field to the Dumb Bell - and suddenly all the vegetation seem to close in on the path - and I became completely soaked and covered in yellow seeds!
In the morning we went swimming - well I say swimming - Windsor Swimming Pool - it is great as it goes from nothing gradually to waist etc and a couple of slides and things - we just stood and held James and Rebecca for 90 minutes until 10.30 - they absolutely loved it. We drove back and met Auntie Zoe, Uncle Warren and Eve in Pizza Express - splendid.
Then half an hour back at the house and Auntie Annie and Uncle Wardy popped round - and they stayed and had a curry with us in the evening which was very pleasant.
Sunday was totally wet again so we had a roast lamb for lunch with Cash, Eve and co again and that was the weekend - thoroughly enjoyable.
All the heavy rain though has caused a leak in the Conservatory which isn't ideal.
Here's a photo of Rebecca and James anyway :-)
