New Yahoo Search Marketing Pricing

Yahoo is increasingly struggling against the dominance of Google - looking through my customer logs it can be seen how little traffic Yahoo (and MSN) send over to web sites. Their main income is from sponsored listings and they have just changed their pricing to reflect the increasing pressure from Google. Yahoo Search Marketing was previously known as Overture (Before being bought) and before that goto.com. They increased their minimum bid for a keyword to 10pence whilst they were dominant (when Overture had the market to themselves and Google didn't have Adwords). They have now decreased the bid to a minimum of 5pence "to reflect the dynamics of the market" as they've put it!

I've ploughed through a truck load of work this week including large updates on British Battles, CSE's catalogue and much more.

This weekend is looking good - Mum and Dad are up from Eastbourne, i'm playing hockey for the 3's tomorrow and the weather is currently pleasant. The high winds of yesterday have subsided but I've noticed my greenhouse isn't where it was on Wednesday! I'll have to look at doing the concrete base for it asap and nailing it down this time!
