Fantastic Weekend
Had a really nice weekend relaxing and time spent with the family. No hockey for me this weekend, Sarah played in the morning at Newlands. James, Rebecca and I went to the swings for a while which they both enjoyed. Then back home to put James to bed! We then cooked a lasagna together which doesn't sound particularly impressive, but for some reason i've never cooked one before - it was really creamy and meaty - meat from Judds of course none of that having to pour the fat of half way through the meal like meat from Tesco!

I must have spent more of my spare time on greenhouses than any other thing in the last few years. The greenhouse was lifted up from its original resting place the other day in the high winds so it is going down the side of the house now. I cleared the old rotten dog kennel away and started to knock the wall down on Sunday. I also sprayed the shed panels whilst I had the chance - though that didn't quite go to plan and I sprayed more on to myself. I also washed my car for the first time ever - with the help of Rebecca of course. I went for a quick run round the NSE grounds and was rather surprised to bump in to my old neighbour from Lower Road - a very good surprise and we had a bit of a chat which was good as it gave my lungs a few minutes to recover.
Sarah's mum and dad then came along for a sunday roast which we were all very pleased they did and much enjoyment was had! My Dad had his throat 'stretched' on Monday as he hadn't been able to eat for a week - his blood pressure was about 190 apparently when he was in hospital - unfortunately this will be a regular occurance due to the cancer - though the hospital said there was still no sign of it which is good news.
James standing at the weekend - he is now cruising quite quickly along the sofas and chairs and is always very happy:
