Hair Loss Treatment

Launched a new web site today - I've been working on it for a few months now and it is ready for go. A medical web site which is a first I think for me - a relatively competitive market for aesthetic treatments - primarily focusing on hair loss treatment for men and women. It is a very fast growing market!

Myspace

Its a glorified spamming network isn't it? Registered last night to see if there were any optimisation opportunities - doesn't look like it though.

Also blogged the new google paypal thing - but doesn't seem to have posted...

Junk Email

I've had a few of my customers asking me about junk email on their machines - my only solution is get Outlook 2003. Otherwise pay more for your hosting and get junk email filter and your own control panel and control what comes through and what doesn't (not really a viable solution).

I didn't go to the council meeting on Mon night - first one I've missed in a long time - I was knackered and had too much work to do. Slept in until 10am on Tues morning which was wonderful - though worked until 10.30pm at night!

We had our mortgage offer on our house today which was good - not so good was that Dad's tumour is still there apparently after five weeks of treatment. We are going to see them soon so I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully be able to take Rebecca down to the beach as well - she absolutely loves playing in the sandpit at home and making sandcastles and things (so do I really!).

Was considering playing hockey on Thurs evening - Warren had very kindly asked me to play - but after taking advice i'd be stupid to with my achilles problems - need to see Terry and have him look at it more closely - he has sorted out most of my problems over the years. My knee rumbled a bit yesterday which was a bit of a worry - which probably makes it worse.

Today is the first day without any football in about three weeks - seems a bit odd really.

Listening to a couple of good CD's at the moment purchased this week from cd wow, Ministry of Sound Clubbers Guide to Summer 2006 and Nasty Dirty Sex Music. Haven't been to a club in ages - but guess i'm too old now and would be a bit of a grandad - besides my ears always blow! I'm still listening to the Depeche Mode album playing the angel which is really rather good.

Junk mail scumbags in harvesting attack | The Register

Nnnooooo, just what i don't need - more junk email - I already receive about 450 a day at the moment - my watsy.com email fills up in 3 days if I don't download it. I've now stopped checking my junk email box and just delete it so loose the odd genuine email sent to me.

Fasthosts floored by Telewest cable cut | The Register

Ah ha, this will be why Fasthosts went down yesterday then. One of my customers said they were down the previous sunday as well.

I didn't also know they had been bought out by a German company. I hope they don't go the same way as most of the other bought out Internet companies eg Demon etc

Feast day, strawberry fayre, england, csp youth club and more

Feeling very tired at work this morning - a real effort to get out of bed - I'm even sleeping through James crying first thing now. Sarah is a real hero - I don't know how she is doing it - getting up through the night and early morning.

Friday night I went to the Chalfont St Peter Youth Club AGM - they really have made stunning progress since we first got involved two years ago - a complete sea change from 8 young people 2 nights a week to over a hundred 3 times a week.

Saturday night I did a couple of hours on the parish council stand at the Chalfont St Peter Feast day event. It was great to see so many local people there and lots of people I know from around the village. Only have two people ask anything - the car park and denham aerodrome. We then toddled over to chalfont st giles for the infant school's strawberry fayre, no strawberries but a very well organised event. We met up with the rest of the family over there which is always good.

Yesterday we had Roast Chicken with sarah's mum and dad which made for a very pleasant lunch time then watched another laboured England performance. They might be lucky meeting Portugal in the next round as the referee of their match was appalling and gave numerous reds and yellows so a couple of players are suspended and more sitting on yellows.

Council meeting this evening which is just what I want to do ....
