Oh well, not to worry - Palace beaten by Watford over two legs. We looked awful to be fair. I think we are suffering from the Rooney effect - ie when he was with Everton they just tried to play everything through him - and when he left they were much better. Hopefully for the sake of AJ's career he'll move on to a top premiership team and come good for England too - he has shown tremendous loyalty with Palace and has pretty much had to sacrifice his world cup place as a result. It will then give Dowie time to rebuild and play a pass and move game rather than hoof it up front for AJ to chase.

The Weekend

Friday night I popped out to the Village Hall for Chris Yoxalls 18th Birthday - he is working with me from July which will be good. A good evening - quite a few people with hangovers next day I should think! My evening wasn't helped out by sitting in the back garden with Geoff and Sarah with a glass of wine (or two) before leaving.

Went and had a look at four houses on Saturday - two of which we really liked. Rebecca was really under the weather with her teeth so had to carry her everywhere in the morning which was rather hard on my arms! She went to sleep for well over 3 hours so must have been bad.

Sarah and I went for a quick walk on Sunday afternoon - we were hoping James and Rebecca would go to sleep in the double buggy - but no such luck - Sarah saw the inside of the Waggon and Horses for the first time and we had a quick half.
