Chocolate Buttons

Rebecca is getting better and better day by day - when I'm coming home from work she is so much fun (as she has been all day so I'm told). Last night we were playing out in the garden with the sandpit and watering the garden - cannot understand other parents who say 'just you wait' anyway... she was going through a phase of throwing her food on the floor - as all kids do - so we were bribing her with a single chocolate button if she was a good girl. Its worked a treat as she doesn't throw any food around and she is very well behaved - the side affect is that she can now say buttons. lol.

Sarah is planning to start a routine with James on Sunday - he is starting to come alive - though his life is still mainly based around food, sleep and not a lot else. He is being very sick after feeding though which is worrying Sarah a bit - though Rebecca used to be sick as well. Sarah and I were looking through some old photos of Rebecca last night and its amazing how much she has changed since the early days.

The tomatoes and cucumbers are doing well in the greenhouse - which is typical as we've now had an offer on the house and they want us to move out by the end of July!! So we probably won't get any of them - oh well - not yet found a place for us to move in to - looking at a couple of places tomorrow in St Peter and St Giles.

Looking forward to the weekend - supposed to be good weather - so can play with Rebecca and James outdoors - Rebecca gets bored now when she cannot run around.

Did you notice the time last night?

Someone pointed out that last night something unusual occured with the time. The full time and date was 2006, 05, 04, 03:02:01 at two minutes and one second past 3am.

Anyway.... had a busy weekend. Went to the May pole dancing on Monday morning with the family and met up with all of Sarah's family - including Rebecca and James' cousins. Sunday morning I delivered my first batch of Village Guides to the area behind us at the NSE. On saturday popped down the club house and went to Chalfont Park lake with Warren and Rebecca and Eve. They also popped round for Roast Lamb on Monday afternoon. Went to the Waggon with Charlie and Scott on Sun night - very careful to limit myself to 4 pints as otherwise the tiredness and hangover would be too much - Sarah only got about 1 hours sleep on Sunday night.

Back to full time work this week in Bourne End oh well. Not a lot else on for the rest of the week - want to go for a run - but my achilles is still hurting - it must be at least four weeks since the end of the hockey season and its still as painful - still it was hurting last summer and I played through it all Winter so maybe that is why its taking a bit of time to recover lol.

Dad has finished his treatment and seems to be doing ok at the moment which is great news.

Here is a picture of James carefully watching Rebecca, Sarah and me at the swings in Chalfont St Giles:
