Happy birthday Sarah

Sarah is 29 today (again) so happy birthday. I bought her a baking tray - who said romance is dead eh. She did ask for that though - so she can bake cakes with Rebecca. Rebecca was up at 6ish today, I was rather sleepy this morning - probably as I've been working until about 11 most nights for the last 2 weeks.

Dad had the results of his CT scan - he hasn't got a secondary cancer / it hasn't spread which is good news. Unfortunately they need more time to analyse the results so it won't be going to the Brighton cancer board today. I'm seeing him tomorrow which I'm looking forward to, ironically in brighton for my Godfather Bob's probate.

Busy day yesterday, working on the new Grant and Stone layout - it is going to be a massive job to overhaul the whole of the web site. Completed lots of other small bits and pieces as well.

Just under seven weeks to go

March 30th is starting to loom large now - almost as large as Sarah lol. She is now quite uncomfortable and I don't think the day can come soon enough for her. I keep wondering how Rebecca is going to react especially for the shared ownership of the parents. Sarah's birthday tomorrow - which of course I am completely prepared for... completely escaped my thoughts at the weekend...

Dad had his CT scan yesterday at 3.30 but the secretary hadn't typed her notes up by the time the consultant had seen dad at 7.00 - don't worry nobody is waiting on the results particularly!!! There is a big meeting every Wednesday in Brighton between Doctors deciding what to do with Cancer patients so we are hoping Dad's case is going to be discussed then and know what position we are in.

Nothing much else really happening - picked up another couple of new web sites to design for the next couple of weeks - so that will keep my busy. No news yet on the viewings from the weekend - though we have been impressed with Philip so far at the Rodgers Partnership - he has shown people round and actually been selling the house - last year with Barringtons they were just curious what it looked like and didn't know how to sell it - quite a difference.

Sunday morning walk to Chalfont Park

Rebecca and I had a lovely walk to Chalfont Park 'lake' this morning - i'd forgotten just how beatiful it is down there. When I say we walked, what I probably mean is I walk and carry rebecca lol. Click the title link for more photos. Plenty of wildlife down there for Rebecca to get excited about, Mallards, Coots, a huge heron flew off as we were there, a horse and lots of other birds / ducks.

Played hockey yesterday and comprehensively beat Staines 3rd XI - it was 1-0 at half time and we finished 9-0. I didn't play as much as I normally do as I had a cold and sore throat and generally felt awful. The main reason I didn't go to Eastbourne as previously arranged as Dad said he didn't want to catch that as well - unsurprisingly. Seeing him on Thursday in Brighton for Bob's probate anyway, which i'm looking forward to (seeing him that is).

Plenty of people coming through the doors looking at the house this weekend - hopefully we'll get some second viewings in next week and some offers so we can make some progress on the house we want and not lose it to anyone.

Busy week at work this week - four meetings on Mon / Tues with mostly my old clients who are popping back up again which is good news.
