What mug took the VR6 off you? Did you pay them to take it away? lol
If you listen, to the motoring afficianados, they'll tell you that cars like that are mini classics and will be worth loads in the future! Nonsense of course. The reason those cars are rare, is because nobody ever wanted them. Take a, group 20 insurance, coupe that is years behind modern cars in safety and styling, and guess what, you can't give the car away! It's like the Fiat Pininfarina coupe and all Alphas, Top Gear rave about them, but in the real world, very few people are interested due to the running costs and shear impractacal nature of them and the lack of "snob" appeal with their badges.
Those mini-classics eh! So easy to sell!!!
Give you 200 quid for it!
Only 1400 quid and two bids! For a mini-classic!
Tip, Put a much more detailed description of the condition of the car and how it runs, INCLUDE everything and take more detailed photos of interior as well. Show problem areas as well, rust spots etc. You have to be as comprehensive and honest as possible, because winning bidders are allowed to pull-out if the car doesn't meet the description offered. Too little details looks like you are being deliberatley vague and untrustworthy. A new MOT next month will help enormously as well.
FYI Anonymous;
Your opinions are indeed biased and ignorant. You stated that the Corrado VR6 is group 20 insurance, well for your information it's not. How do I know? I work for a global car insurance underwriter and they are IN FACT group 18 vehicles (Please do your homework!!). Already on this point you have discredited yourself.
The Corrado ceased production in late 1995 / early 1996, the and the VR6 is still one of the best front-wheel drive performance cars available. It is only now, 8 years on, that the competition has caught up with cars such as the Ford Focus RS, Honda Civic Type-R and the Audi TT V6. Owning ( I doubt you have!!) a Corrado VR6 is quite a special experience. It is the model of sophisticated understatement, but can embarrass and humble any hot hatch. Also it is practical, similar to being a hatchback with fold-down rear seats. I even managed to fit 3 sets of golf clubs in mine!!! And if you bothered to look at the current market for these vehicles they hold their value considerably well - look on autotrader.co.uk and you will see. The running costs aren't that bad either as I regularly return 29mpg. It's no more expensive than running a modern day Golf or Focus. I have indeed owned many cars - my Corrado being my 12th. To name a few I have had BMW M3's, Mercedes Benz C classes, Focus's, Honda Civic's (TYPE R) and Fiat Coupes. My point being is that going through ownership of these vehicles has enabled me to make such critical or indeed non-critical points on them. Clearly you are very very fortunatally the minority.
corrado vr6s r great, i hav 2 and im only 21 can run them no problem, they go on cassic in 4 pennies.who ever posted that other comment must have had no intrest in cars or girls, u know what i mean! lol
The Corrado is among the MOST UNIQUE and AHEAD OF IT'S TIME cars ever produced.
The VR6 power plant first used in the Corrado has become the engine of choice for several VW models even 15 years later!
Ignorance will let people judge the Corrado only by poor sales.
