Mixed hockey ...

Played mixed hockey at the weekend for the first time in many years - and even longer with Sarah. Catherine was brilliant again and looked after James and Rebecca at the side of the pitch whilst we were running around in the rain losing 2-1 to Sonning. At least I scored the goal - which was some consolation especially after we lost on Saturday too - in my case the bottom of the league side Gerrards Cross - amazing result.

James has started saying ga ga now, he is crawling backwards and playing with toys and going after things he can see. Rebecca has been going through a week of hitting - mostly when she is tired - we are trying various things to work it out of her - notably taking away her muzzy if she starts and saying things like poor mummy, ouch poor james etc. Any advice welcome!!

Been really busy at work again - I blink and it is 5.30 - amazing. Getting through massive quantities of work though - and still delivering good results to customers which is pleasing.

Looking forward to the weekend which I'm sure will be upon me before I can say 'not done enough work' as the family are all visiting.
