Busy weekend / new windows
Spent Saturday having some quality time with Rebecca and James and playing hockey for the 2's - we drew with Henley 2-2 - in a pretty hard fought game. They hit the post at the end of the game and we should have had a p-flick when it hit one of their people on the line and the umpire called it lifted.... eh.
Yesterday was spent clearing away the shrubbery from the windows as we are having double glazing fitted this week. Previous owners have planted some very sharp pointy plants in there for obvious reasons - so that was a joy!
Sarah and I also went to a civic service at All Saints Church Chalfont St Peter for local volunteers - met a few people we haven't seen for a while - was a bit annoyed when I was having a conversation with someone and another councillor came barging in and took over the conversation without so much as an excuse me.... never mind. Sarah's Mum and Dad were looking after J & R and stayed for a Roast Chicken which was very pleasant (if a little noisy).
