Hockey and curries

Busy weekend as normal. Went out on Friday night to Old Amersham - Spice Society I think - and had an Ultra Hot Balti - not too bad at all. The youngsters then went to the Blue Room / Orchard and a few of us retired for a few games of snooker. I was wearing my glasses so wasn't much cop.

Saturday played my first full game of hockey since March and felt ok even though it was a very warm day. We lost 4-3 against Aylesbury 2nd XI even though we had about half the team from the 3's last year - I managed to deflect one in which was good.

Sarah went out last night to the mixed tournament do, but we both went down today which was good. Rebecca did lots of running around with plenty of people to keep her occupied - here is a photo with Aunty Annie on the grounds tractor. What a lot of fun that was! All washed down with a Roast Pork this evening.



Busy week coming up, a Parish Council meeting - the first one i'd have been to since about June (there isn't one in August), training for one of us on Tues then probably snooker on wed or thurs. Hopefully launching an updated web site next week - pretty much there with it now.
