Eastbourne, lawns and much more
We've been full on since I last posted, no time at all to post anything. Last week I was in Birmingham for an exhibition where we found some good bits and pieces and met a few suppliers, and London for a new web site on Thurs am - a Holistic Financial Planner, then High Wycombe on Thurs afternoon via Chalfont St Peter! When I'm out of the office if means I have to work all evenings. The family had a cold last week so there were plenty of people waking up in the night to disrupt our sleeps!
Friday was just work with a few games of snooker in the evening with John - its absolutely brilliant being able to play just down the road. Martin wasn't there but played with his cue anyway... because it makes such a difference to my tip top game.
Saturday Sarah went and played hockey at Newlands, my achilles is still troubling me - i might go and try it out at training on Tues and see what its like on Wed morning - I can't wait to play again but think it won't be until Jan 2007 ho hum. Besides I need to buy a new stick. Also mowed the lawn for a few hours (!) and generally got on with stuff. Hopefully the plumber is coming round to install our new fridge freezer, a dish washer from my sister (see below) and remove the bath / shower from our garage.

Went to Eastbourne on Sunday, left at 11.30 got there after 1pm and then came back at 7pm. It was my nephew's first birthday. There were plenty of people there and they'd hired a bouncy castle. There are loads of toys down there so Rebecca was well amused for the afternoon. I ache loads this morning as Oliver loved being thrown in the air whilst I was sitting down - giggled loads, but he is a big boy and i'm a weak adult! Brought back a dish washer from Eastbourne - it was touching the back window glass in the car (through a carpet we put over the edge) so I very gingerly drove back home last night. Dad has had two stretches on his throat now to make it wider so he can eat again - and he was doing ok with a roast beef last night. The trouble is he hasn't got many teeth left to chew it now!! He has another stretch on his throat I think he said it is now 1.75 cm or and it goes to 2.5.
Well busy week this week - loads of work to do so think i'll be working most evenings again - been avoiding that recently...
