Close bar-b-q
We had a bar-b-q in the close last night - it was really good to meet most of the residents and I can see why it is quite a close community - Sarah and I really enjoyed it. Apparently they've been have a 'road' bar-b-q most years since the silver jubillee in 1977. The road was only built in 1970! It was supposed to be Sat night but the weather was too windy / wet etc.
We also toddled along to the Chalfont St Giles show, I forgot to take the camera which is a bit of a shame as there was an animal enclosure when the public were able to hold and touch animals such as pigs, mice, goats, rabbits, chickens etc Rebecca was in heaven! James was happy too but he is usually grinning away. He is rolling over and lying on his front like a demon these days. Saturday didn't start too well though as my alcohol tolerence is so low these days and I spent a night with Martin at the social club - only had about 5 pints but I felt awful!!
