Martin and Otty moving, work and parish council meeting

Wednesday was a busy day. Helped Martin and Otty move in to their new house round the corner from us (which is good). Popped in to the Waggon for some lunch in between packing and unpacking and completing notification. Very pleasant it was too. Here is a photo of them entering their new house for the first time.



Then finished tired there and went down to the council offices for a parish council meeting. The annual fun and games of re-electing officers - highly amusing with the old Conservatives (there are no young ones!) battling for the top jobs. The local Tory party chairman was ousted from Vice Chairman position - 8 to 7 - a nailbiter. All highly amusing and mostly pointless to be honest. I'm still vice chairman of open spaces remarkably which means I default on to the Amenities and Finance meetings as well. Wouldn't have enough time for Planning as that is every 3 weeks.

Been very very busy with work at the moment both Cater For You and the web design side of things are exceptional at the moment.

We had a survey of our house today - which hopefully went ok.

Not up to much at the moment this weekend - supposed to be raining for most of it - but hopefully we can take James and Rebecca somewhere interesting for a run around. Rebecca is being brilliant at the moment - she was very disappointed when I left the house at 7.50am this morning as she wanted me to carry on reading her stories - I was just as upset I think!!

Fancy going to the pub at some point too - but not sure when as need to work.
