House move, weekend, sport and work
Work has been overwhelming recently - and not being able (or wanting to) work quite so many hours is hampering me a bit. Have managed to get everything done in timescale just about though. All good fun and very enjoyable I hasten to add. Should have another couple of web sites to launch this week which is good. Registered quite a few new domain names last week which could see about four new web sites being launched in the coming months.
The house move is going ahead rather smoothly at the moment - too smoothly some might say. If all things progress ok then we should have moved by the end of July. I am delighted that we have found a place in Chalfont St Peter - we looked at another house in St Giles as well and was a toss up between the two. Everyone seems to be moving at the moment as well which is quite interesting - mostly over to the Chalfont Common side of the village.
We had a very pleasant weekend together. James is doing well with his routine so far and sleeping ok at night. We had a lovely walk to Roberts Lane this morning as can be seen in the photo (you can't see James though). When we say smile now to Rebecca she scrunches her face up - must be all the photos and the flashes - she gets used to being blinded. We sat at the kitchen table and all three of us laughed for quite a while when we discovered that - its great being able to laugh with Rebecca rather than just at what she does - she can also see the funny side. Her vocabulary is coming on in leaps and bounds at the moment.
Rebecca must be about to grow as well - she has eaten loads this weekend. We had a fantastic roast beef today - from Judds the Butchers in Chalfont St Peter - the meat there really is so much better than anything in the supermarkets. Also popped in the Waggon and Horses on Thursday night and Saturday night - Otty and cash joined me and Martin which was very pleasant.
I've got an unreal busy week this week - looking forward to it - i'm not going to be bored anyway. Not much on at CSE this week though. Sorting out signs and business cards and general stationary and that is about it. Finally sending back the Sat Nav I bought at Christmas which has never worked this week as well. Have all our thank-you cards to write at some point soon as well.
