The Weekend

Found out last night I'm definitely playing 2's v British Airways. My foot is hurting a bit but should be ok for tomorrow - had to a stop taking the drugs unfortunately so will see what happens next weekend when the next cycle is due to hit me.

I think I've completed about 60 hours work from Monday morning to this point - not bad! Updated British Battles today and last night - including the Great Boar War, more photos on various page. Also went to Hampshire this morning for a new web site i'm doing (over the weekend by the looks of it!) - http://www.livcomawards.com/ I'm going to be able to put Chalfont Web Design on the bottom as well which is cool as its a Google Pagerank of 6/10 which will then benefit my other customers. Been registering my customers around at various search directories this afternoon - one of the most boring jobs in web design / search engine optimisation but has to be done.

A dead squirrel appeared on the lawn on Wednesday - well i think its dead - it keeps moving every night. Will dispose of it tomorrow - somewhere - somehow. Have to re-do the shed roof as well - think the cat keeps scratching holes in it so keeps leaking. Also need to put a new picture rail up in the second nursery - and have to -repaint it as well before March. Sarah is doing really well which is good news.

Office Politics

After four years of working for myself I was caught up in office politics today. I arrived at work at 8am and made myself my normal cups of tea throughout the morning - then the milk ran out and oh the woe. I'm afraid I was fingered as the guilty party for having four cups of tea - and being the contractor should provide my own. Oh how I laughed - I'd forgotten what it was like. Nothing better to worry about. I'm still laughing now whilst typing this. Can't wait for the arguments over car parking - that used to be a favourite - though more between companies than in companies I suppose. I guess I'd better take it more seriously otherwise it will wind them up more - maybe a fridge full of milk will appease them.

I'm running out of things to listen to so kicked off with Sex Pistols Kiss This and now listening to The Prodigy Experience. Just purchased a few CS's - Depeche Modes new one, Ministry of Sound Annual 2006, Ian Brown greatest hits and one Franz Ferdinands new one. Three of them are arriving with Ltd DVD's or CD's.

Nothing much else to report except work work work....

Thursday already

Blimey, its a week since I last posted. Been absolutely flat out since last Friday. My ankle didn't swell up on Friday night or any other night, my knee was massive but I could just about walk so I played hockey - scored two goals and got man of the match which gave me a big smile for the rest of the weekend. had great fun with Rebecca at the weekend (as always) and also did the lawn, weeding, painted some new picture rails and loads of work work. Didn't go out - in fact its at least two weeks since I went out except for hockey - the night out at winkers - i'm probably still recovering.

Been very busy with work this week - all three main areas are doing very well. Though this has meant I've been working until 11pm every night - even listened to the England game on the internet radio last night instead of watching it - though I hate the way they play at the moment so don't feel as though i'm missing much.

Hopefully playing hockey this weekend, haven't heard anything since Saturday but assume I'm playing away at British Airways for the 2's - played them last year with the 3's - they got promoted and are sitting high up in the league already.

Rebecca finally had her MMR on Tuesday afternoon - nothing really to note about it so far - she was awake for a couple of hours on Tues night which is a bit more than normal (lucky us).

Web work that has been completed this week includes The Great Boer War for british battles, JJP updates (though not updated their main site yet - their web hosting will be sorted out this weekend so hopefully zoom up Google shortly afterwards, Switch Gear on the CSE web site and some minor amends on the Addpro web site.
