New Web Sites

Since starting at CSE 'full time' last week, I've been working on a new layout for their web sites. They Can now be seen at www.cse-distributors.com and shortly at www.csedistributors.com. There will be loads of exciting things happening to the site and as I'm working here it should develop really well.

I've also launched J & J Pneumatics new web site - though it is by no means finished yet.

Also woke up this morning without any pain in my foot which was good - though had a swollen throat and 100 degree temperature - what the hell is the matter with my body. Anyway, hopefully I'll be well enough to play in the 1's this Saturday - its the following Saturday i'm more worried about though with my knee in its arthritus two week cycle.

Sarah has left for Poland today - she is coming back on Sunday sometime - i'm going to miss her not being around. She's got a couple more trips coming up she said as well copenhagen and somewhere else. Supposed to have a Tithe barn meeting this evening - but as usual will miss it. I haven't been to a sports club one for months either.

The Chalfont St Peter forum has lost a valuable member in Eddie who apparently died yestereday - he contributed some great posts - finding out news before anyone else knew about it.

Its not broken!

Spent Monday morning in Wexham A & E - all very quick except for the x-ray department - but at least my foot isn't broken. I'm on a course of 400mg of Ibuprofen every four hours with paracetamol in between to reduce the swelling.

Went to CSE in the afternoon and did an array of things and then came home to a load of work. Back in to CSE all day today - very productive day as well.

Off to hockey training this evening - so will see how bad my foot is then and probably most tellingly tomorrow morning.

Somthings afoot

What a busy weekend. Friday night I finally finished off the August invoicing and a few other bits and pieces of work. Then woke up at 4am with a massive pain in my right foot, couldn't put any weight on it at all. Laid in bed for a couple of hours in agony before finally going back to sleep. Woke up at 9 and still couldn't walk on it. I had been called back in to the 1's which I was looking forward to - but it was cancelled the day before as Leighton Buzzard were going to the test match instead so I was lucky. Rebecca and I watched Sarah in the Ladies 3's match - my knee is also very swollen - every two week regular as clock work - starts thurs evening should be down by Tues evening - was hoping the hockey runaround would break that cycle. Sometime on Sat afternoon my foot clicked and the pain seemed to disappear.

Walked down to the Greyhound on Saturday evening and met up with Martin, Warren, Fay, Adam and Charlie - then walked back.

Sunday morning woke up in agony again and knee massive - the foot had also swollen and gone a strange colour (according to Sarah!). Went to Odds Farm with Martin, Otty, Connor, Zoe, Warren and Eve. Sarah was managing the U14 girls over at Broxbourne HC but I hobbled around Odds Farm - which was very good - though a bit cold. I was too busy juggling Rebecca, pushchair and bags to take any photos - the other two got some good ones though I think. Got a bit cold there as well.

We all had a delicious Roast Lamb and Chicken late afternoon before coming home. My foot seems to have clicked back again and is no longer painful - only in the last 2 hours or so.

England are having some good fortune with the light at the moment and look on course to win the Ashes back which is great news. Palace won 2-0 against Hull which was also very good news.

Wonder if I'll make it to A & E tomorrow and see what is going on with my foot....
