Thursday already

My god, where is the week going - and I still have an inordinate amount of work to do. Went to Geoff's funeral yesterday - a couple of excellent tributes - they even mentioned the 1 one minute silence we organised at the hockey and cricket matches - he used to play hockey for Ireland (not sure if north or south) and was very musical apparently. Well he must have been looking down on Northern Ireland last night as a dismal display by England saw them lose 1-0 to Northern ireland. The players just didn't seem to be motivated on the pitch at all - Sven seems to have lost the dressing room as they say - four years on from the victory over Germany - most odd. Maybe they can draft in Bobby Robson until after the world cup!

Had a council meeting on Monday evening - to discuss how the new building is progressing - I'm a bit worried about how much money we are spending. There will be two rooms for police though as the Parish Council is very keen to do whatever it can to boost police presence in the area.

Not much else to report as haven't had time to do anything but work!!

Dell finally arrives

The new Dell PC finally arrived last night and I've spent the day at CSE installing it with all the applications required. Was working until midnight last night and 11.30 on Sunday evening, so feeling a bit tired this morning.

Rebecca still has a bad cough as well - sounds really painful although she sleeps through it we don't!

Off to the first hockey training tonight - at Newland Park.
