Weekend Roundup

Busy weekend as always - though have another cold and sore throat to show for it.

Went to the CPSA AGM on Friday after Sarah got back from the Thames Valley Games. Only about 10 people turned up - not even all the board. Makes me furious - it is a £100k operation which we help to run on a voluntary basis - we are Directors so also are in a legally responsible position - and nobody is bothered to turn up. How crap.

Saturday morning I took Rebecca to the library to choose some books - they even had the hard board backs with open flaps which she loves. I of course should know that the library has this as I worked as a Saturday assistant in CSP library and around the County during holidays for five years. We then proceeded to the swings - didn't enjoy it as much as usual.

Became apparent why she was not her usual self as she appears to have conjunctivitus - so nipped down the chemist on Sunday morning and bought some drops for her - now that is fun getting those in!! Her eyes seem slightly better this morning - and she doesn't appear too bothered by it thankfully.

Also had a bar-b-q on Saturday evening and planted my runner beans yesterday (after I'd bought my canes from garden club).

Arranged three more fixtures for the Badger team I'm organising this summer which is good news. Was proving quite dificult!

Loads and loads of work to get through this week.
