I was approached to set up a web site selling a range of disposable and reusable catering products. The site was set up using Actinic Ecommerce V 6.1.3 and makes use of Protx as a third party payment gateway again and also Invoice with order and for the first time Paypal. I am now a part owner of the business and help with all aspects of its running including stock management, pricing, supplier liaison, new products, the accounts and of course the web site!

The site is constantly being developed to take advantage of the burgeoning market for disposable and reusable plastic catering products - a large, growing market across the UK and abroad. The key product areas are as follows:

Plastic Glasses

Plastic glasses covers a range of glasses including plastic shot glasses, plastic pint glasses and plastic half pint glasses. The most interesting of these is the twister shot glass which has two shots in one - never seen it in a bar before - so I look forward to hearing whether they sell well.

Stemmed glasses

Stemmed glasses covers products such as plastic martini glasses, plastic wine glasses, plastic champagne glasses and plastic cocktail glasses. The products are usually in a choice of either disposable or a range of reusable glasses (either unbreakable polycarbonate, S.A.N. or polystyrene). The reusable martini glass is my personal favourite.

Non Catering Products
Post event products and complimentary products are being introduced to the product range with the most successful the Goodsphere Air Purifiers which is a rapidly growing business.
