Web Site Design
To pay the mortgage and finance my other interests (!), I design web sites for
small and medium sized businesses - focusing on return on investment - ie
leads to make them money! Fortunately, as I am quite successful in this
(give or take Google's recent adjustments) I have not had to take on
many new customers in the last couple of years.
A small selection of my customers are listed on the left hand side -
these will be added to in the near future. I first started web site
designing in 1996 - creating a web site for Chalfont St. Peter hockey
club which was one of the first around (Blackheath was the first!).
I then moved on to design web sites for a couple of my employers notably
PageOne - which was apparently awarded web site of the week in The
Independent soon after I left.
Whilst working at
Quest Marketing and previously
Lysander Systems in
early 2000, I completed my own "dot com"!! It was IT Commodities
and aimed to sell thin client software and hardware from Citrix and NCD
over the web - I think I was a little too ambitious for that time. To view some of
my very early sites go to archive.org. Most of the graphics aren't
stored at archive.org, hence why they are missing! Chalfont St Peter
Hockey web site from 1998 - how awful is this!
watsy.u-net.com
PageOne Communications - again from 1998 -
www.page-one.co.uk My only dot com!
www.itcommodities.com - not too bad a site and it was essentially a good
idea. |
