Dolgellau 2006

It is becoming a tradition to avoid the drab new years celebrations and go away with Warren / Zoe and Martin / Otty somewhere very pleasant and relaxing.  This year we rented a 6 bedroom  16th Century country house a couple of miles outside Dolgellau in Wales. The scenery was stunning and a splendid week was had by all:

First day Connor and Rebecca enjoy the kids lounge

This stream was a short walk within the grounds of the whole estate we were staying on

Rebecca was keen to give it a try even though it was freezing and we were holding her back

Rebecca had done really well with her walking and needed a lift home

Our first visit to Barmouth - stunning beach and nice town centre - as good as Cornwall

Rebecca's walking came on remarkably during the week - she would run and scream with happiness - absolutely brilliant

In the hotel waiting for lunch - 'Bedtime for Maisy' was THE book to read

Connor loved diving around in the sand

Just stopping off for a quick break and to have a look over the estuary which fed in to Barmouth
