Walk to Chalfont Park

Rebecca and I went for a beautiful walk through to the water splash at Chalfont Park.  I haven't walked along there since my childhood and we used to go there all the time from our house in Lower Road.  We parked the car at the Sport Club (where we are members and allowed to park) walked up the golf club service road for a few yards and picked up the public footpath - which is roughly where Rebecca stopped walking and I carried her the rest of the journey.

Obviously its not much of a water splash any more as there is no water in any of the rivers feeding it so very little water is escaping from the 'lake'.  I'd forgotten just how beautiful it was though and will be going there again soon.  The ducks aren't quite as tame as the ones in Chalfont St Giles so not sure if we'll take bread again.
