Someone told me last week – sorry forgot who – that I should try this drink especially as port is one of my favourite tipples – full bodied wine as I prefer to think of it. I can’t stand brandy (and pretty much every other spirit in the rack) so was rather dubious about how good this drink was going to be.
Anyway, I had a tentative sip from a glass of the stuff and I have to say it was rather good. The port was still as smooth and full with the brandy only really kicking in as it goes down the throat and creates a warm burning (but pleasant) sensation.
Probably not an everyday drink me thinks though…
